We wensen Saskia Jeroen en kleinkinderen veel sterkte met het verlies van jullie lieve moeder! We zullen haar herinneren als een lieve vrolijke vrouw met veel gevoel voor humor! We zijn verhinderd om te komen naar de begrafenisdienst omdat we op vakantie zijn. Veel liefs Gerda en Rijk!

Lieve Tante Tine,
It is with heavy heart that I received John-Paul's bad news of your life's journey having reached its closure phase.
I am now painfully aware that, with your passing, the generation of aunts, uncles and those they loved, headed by Oma and Opa, has come to a close. A finality that agonises my soul.
It is life's tragedy that migration and the tyranny of distance have kept me and Regina apart from our extended family.
Regina and I will always be thankful for the opportunity to reunite with you and Tante Ine during your Australian visit some 23 years ago. It allowed us to create cherished memories, which will remain treasured in our minds.
It is also hurtful that we are unable to join with your loved ones in celebrating your life. A well-lived life measured in abundance by how well you loved and how well you were loved in return. Importantly, a life blessed and made special by the inextricable bond with your twin, Tante Ine.
May it be of some comfort to Saskia, Jeroen and family that we also admired and loved you from afar.
Whilst there are no words of solace or sympathy to compensate for your loss, we hope that our condolences show that we care about them and acknowledge their grief. We will keep them in our thoughts and include them in our prayers as they mourn your loss.
As you know, at 84 and a contemporary of Tante Sonja and Oom Wim, there is expectation that I will be joining you soon. A joyous occasion indeed!. It is my abiding hope that we will be unshackled from the constraints of geographic and family separation in the afterlife.
May you rest in peace.
